Written 12-month workmanship guarantee
Labour we carry out is covered for 12 months. Parts sit on the maker’s warranty. If something we fitted fails in that year through our work, we come back and put it right. Conditions: the install must stay as we left it, and the fault has to be our workmanship — not a new leak somewhere else in the house, misuse, or another trade’s follow-on work. Ask for the written terms with your price.
Common questions
Do you price before you start?
Yes. You get the figure before work starts. If we open up and find extra rusted pipe, we stop and price that piece before carrying on.
What areas do you cover?
Hoon Hay, Cashmere, Westmorland and Huntsbury. Further out in Christchurch if the job fits the day.
How often do filter cartridges need changing?
Most twin-house filters want a change when the water taste drops or the cartridges look spent — often around 6–12 months depending on use. First cartridge-change labour is included after a Hydroguard install we did.
When do I need council consent?
Like-for-like repairs usually do not. New sanitary plumbing, some cylinder moves and drainage work can. We will tell you before we book if consent is part of the job.
Is the water “healthier” after a filter?
Filters cut chlorine taste and smell and sediment. We do not make medical claims. Better Water-Better Health is about how the water drinks and treats your tapware.
